How soon will my order ship?

I try to post all orders out quickly, within 24-48 hours but it depends on which day of the week I receive it.

I work from Thursday lunchtime to Saturday afternoon so that makes it a bit tricky. Essentially if you order just before I go to work on a Thursday I will try to post it on Friday but it’s possible I may not be able to do it until Monday morning.

If you need your piece quickly please contact me so I can give you an accurate time frame.

How will my order ship

All of my jewellery comes in an attractive jewellery box and packed into a padded envelope. Gift wrapping and personalised notes are available just let me know what you would like.

How much is shipping?

UK

All UK delivery is free.

Orders under £100.00 I use Royal Mail Tracked 24 which aims for a 24 hour delivery and is insured for up to £100.00

Orders over £100.00 I use Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note orders placed after Thursday lunchtime will not be posted until Monday.

If you need your piece by a specific date please contact me so I can give you an accurate time frame.

International

If you are outside the UK you may have to pay import duties, tax, postal service handling fees, or other fees. You are responsible and liable for these charges. Please check with your local postal service or relevant body to see what the current import value thresholds are where you live, and what fees you may be liable for.

For this reason I strongly suggest non UK buyers purchase through my Etsy shop, Lampwork Jewels, where fees and duty are handled at checkout.

Do you accept returns?

Unworn items can be returned for any reason within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price.

To return an item please email me first so that I can go over the procedure and give you the return address. Please do not return goods without contacting me first

You should return the goods unused and securely packed in the original packaging.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of returned goods.

Refunds will not include return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Any losses or damage incurred during the return may mean we cannot refund you. Therefore please use Royal Mail Special Delivery or international equivalent that has the appropriate insurance cover.

Refunds can only be returned to the source that was originally used to pay. For PayPal payments this means that refunds will be credited to the customer's PayPal account and not the card that was used to pay through PayPal. For credit cards this will be to the card that was originally used for the transaction.

Exceptions

I regret that custom made to order jewellery or lampwork beads cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, through Stripe as well as payment via PayPal.

This store uses Stripe and PayPal for payments. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

I do not accept cheques or postal orders.

Do you take commissions or special orders?

I'm sorry but no, experience has taught me that accepting commissions and special orders is a bad idea for me. Partly because I'm a perfecionist and it takes me so much longer to do than it should. Also because I struggle to interpret other peoples ideas which usually makes me panic... not a recipe for beautiful beads.
