New Year, New Homepage

It’s that time of year again, I’m starting to think of it as tinkering time! I am setting up a new website homepage, something I’ve been meaning/trying to do for ages and even though Squarespace is very easy to use I am really struggling. It should be a relatively simple operation but I have been doing it for the entire week now and it’s really kicking my arse. I find myself sitting with my head in my hands, nursing my aching brain. It’s like the numbskulls sneaked in while I was sleeping and stole all my website making cells, the tiny design cells, the even tinier, nerdy technical cells and definitely all the imperceptibly tiny juju cells. I am reading all the help articles and watching all the demo videos, willing my brain to make sense of them but nuh-uh…I’m gettin’ nuthin’ … Much like the old Morecambe and Wise joke I’m playing all the right notes just not in the right order.

So I have put up what I’ve done so far, I know it’s not great but It’s very much a work in progress. I’m hoping if I walk away from a it for a day or two my head can pull itself back out of the void and carry on as usual. I’m going to lie in a dark room now, if I’m not out by teatime please send chocolate.
