So I did something unusual and quite unexpected this weekend... After years of randomly listing new beads and jewellery when I felt like it, often one piece at a time to make the most of Etsy search, I made a plan. I know, get me and my high falutin' organising skillz! I finally decided that my beloved scattergun approach just wasn't cutting it anymore (like it ever did!)
I got a giant piece of paper, divided it into a grid and actually planned out from now until December. Then I made a plan of what I need to get done every month so that I could release all my new beads and jewellery in a single update at the beginning of the month... then I had a lie down in a dark room.
I want to schedule a release of all my new pieces once a month so that you know when to expect it. It means I can organise everything more effieciently and I reckon I will actually be able to make more beads. Also I will be working seasonally which I know is really important for jewellery makers.
Part of my plan is to email my subscribers two days before public release of the new beads with a link to a private website page where everything is listed. They then have 48 hours to shop with free worldwide postage. At the end of the 48 hours I take it off private sale and release what is left it to everyone else and also list it in LampworkJewels on Etsy. If you would like to receive the next preview with free postage you can sign up by clicking this link - Subscribe Here
What does the next couple of months hold bead wise? I will mostly be making beads with a summery feel, florals in a light bright palette for the next month or so then come July it will be all change as I work towards Autumn. This really is a massive change for me and I'm very excited.
Comments will be approved before showing up.
